Our Vision
Cierra Interiors' founder Tim Heard envisioned a store decorated around an eclectic mix of colorful, global accessories and rustic handmade furniture; a store where each furniture piece is a masterful work of art. His vision became a passion, one that has become the cornerstone of Cierra Interiors for more than two decades.
Tim's vision lives on through the devotion and talent of his partner and wife Shana Heard, and their dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Their design staff is dedicated to helping you create an environment that is filled with unique accessories and furniture that you will love for a lifetime.
Cierra's combined passions and talents have earned them a reputation of offering some of the most quality products in the region, with services that exceed the expectations of their clients.

Our History
Founded by Tim Heard in 1988, Cierra Interiors is a family-owned and operated furniture store based in Austin, Texas. Shortly after the first store opened, Tim married Shana Mora and together they grew the business for 21 years. Cierra Interiors is one of the first stores of its kind in the region to offer furniture that is now classified as "rustic," a unique blend of antique, handmade or distressed furniture pieces combined in a way to look weathered. This trend in furniture has become very popular since Tim's first vision was realized.
Our Commitment
We forged a path early on to be the leaders in rustic elegance. We care deeply about sourcing furniture and accessories from around the world and bringing back the handiwork of other cultures to our customers. Sometimes these treasures are discovered in our own home state.
Our Products
Visitors warm up quickly in our stores. Their senses come alive as they are welcomed by warm, bright colors, unusual furniture and rich textures. We offer a large, unique selection of one-of-a-kind furnishings and accessories from around the world. We import products from Mexico, Morocco, India, Peru, Indonesia and Brazil as well as domestically. Our upholstery consists of innovative fabric combinations and styles. Customers will discover products made from rich and exotic woods such as acacia, mesquite and ironwood. We also offer a unique selection of lamp shades made of leather and metal or hand painted in eclectic Moroccan patterns.
Cierra is known for its rustic elegance. Our furniture feels like it could have been in your family for generations because the pieces blend old with new construction. We add lighting, statues, artwork, rugs, pillows and many other accessories so that you can envision unique room designs that express your personal taste and passion. Those who are drawn to coastal living will love the vibrant colors and relaxed feel of Cita Resort Interiors, which offers home accessories, clothing and jewelry that is ideal for an ocean-side environment.

The Austin Distribution Center has 40,000-square-feet of warehouse space, which is open to the public by appointment, and it is the distribution center for three stores: Cierra Interiors in Austin and Houston; and a sister city store, Cita Resort Interiors in Port Aransas, Texas. The company also serves retail customers nationwide.
Our Services
Our experienced design staff enjoys helping customers find that perfect piece or combination of compatible pieces. We have offered in-house design services for 21 years, at no additional charge, and have had much success and fun doing it. Our reputation is built on our satisfied customers. Cierra Interiors is proud to have been the recipient of many Parade of Homes "Best Furnishings" awards throughout Texas.
